ReplyDeleteI have a graphite Lamy Safari but would love a copper orange Al-Star! Favourite ink colour at the moment is Noodler's Green Marine!
Yes of course! Thanks for mentioning it!
DeleteI like clear demonstrators so I can see the ink color, but this copper is fabulous! I don't have an Al-Star yet, either.
ReplyDeleteI adore this color. Would love to win one!
ReplyDeleteCopperorange/copperorange, of course!
ReplyDeleteNow, when I see a car painted this color (seems to be a popular thing now), I describe it as "Lamy Copperorange." I think this is my favorite color now.
ReplyDeleteI love any color pen that I can find a matching ink for, so this obviously qualifies. ;-) Thanks for the opportunity.
ReplyDelete- Tina
I like the all black safari with oxblood ink
ReplyDeleteErr, I don't know whether my last comment was up because my page was refreshed. If it was, I apologize for the double post.
ReplyDelete"I like black pens and inks. But Orange is the new black! ;)"
Forgot to ask, what size nib does this lovely Al-Star sport?
ReplyDeleteAh! Forgot to mention that! The winner will have the choice between fine and medium!
DeleteI love the copper orange of the Al-Star! Thanks for the opportunity to win.
ReplyDeleteIt doesn't look as if my comment posted so I'm going to try again. sorry if this is a double post.
DeleteI have a Lamy Safari in red with a medium nib and it's inked with my new fav, J. Herbin Gris Nuage. Love the matching barrel/ink though on the copper orange though.

ReplyDeleteMy favorite combo right now is a Karas Kustoms INK with Kon-Peki
ReplyDeleteI'd love the chance to try this out!
ReplyDeleteRight now I am using a LAMY Safari in charcoal with Noodler's Dark Matter.
ReplyDeleteI love silver pens but purple ink
ReplyDeleteI tend to like the stainless steel pens but the blue and black ones are good for me. For the ink I prefer a saturated blue
ReplyDeleteI favor demonstrators, but I like pens of all colors so I can coordinate with the ink.The only ink colors I don't do (yet) are pink, yellow, or grey. Orange is a big favorite of mine. Thanks for the chance.
ReplyDeleteI like black ink the best. A little boring I guess but it is what I always come back to. I also like a medium point.
ReplyDeleteI love green or blue-green pens the best! As for ink, I'm actually happier with the basic colors (black, blue, red) so I can use them everyday even in an office setting. :)
ReplyDeletePen colour: classic black, nothing beats a black pen.
ReplyDeleteInk colour: At the moment I really enjoy using J. Herbin Orange Indien. I think it has the best shading of all organe inks i saw until now
Thank you Dries for this awesome giveway!!!!!
Even though I don't have one (yet) demonstrators are my favourite 'colour' for a pen. As for inks, nothing beats a good burgundy for me. (Sorry if this is a duplicate post, I don't thin the first worked)
ReplyDeleteHi Dries,
ReplyDeleteThank you for this giveaway! I live in Belgium too so it would be so easy to give it to me, right?
I love dark green pens. Also, orange ;-)
ReplyDeleteOrange is my favourite colour, so an orange pen suits me just fine. However, my ink colour of choice is blue. Still looking for the perfect blue.
ReplyDeleteMy favorite color is green. Also for fountain pens. For ink I like most black ... and green ;)
ReplyDeleteUsually I like a chrome or silver pen (like the Lamy 2000 actually) with a modern look filled with classic blue/black ink, but that is for normal life. I now realize that I need orange ink very much indeed.

{in the contest I am Margot Core on the Rafflecopter}
I pair a Safari in umbra (charcoal) with Lamy's Blue-Black ink, for a good everyday write.
ReplyDeleteLamy is a icone of write instruments. Of course I would like to win this orange pen
ReplyDeleteMy favourite edc pen at the moment is the Lamy Safari in black. I'm using blue ink. Thank you for this opportunity!
ReplyDeleteI really like demonstrators. Need to add some orange pens to the collection though. Thanks for the contest!
ReplyDeleteI have a really nice yellow and black pen that looks really sweet, and som black ink works in any pen.
ReplyDeleteI'm particularly partial to outrageous celluloids like Parker's Golden Web and Omas bronze arco. Why have one colour when you can have several all mixed up?
ReplyDeleteI have the Bluegreen AL Star with blueblack ink...love it. Would love the new copperorange, though!
ReplyDeleteOMAS pearl grey celluloid and Montblanc Toffee Brown
ReplyDeletewould love to have my own Lamy fountain pen. this would be my first and only :)
ReplyDeleteI love a green pen & bright blue ink, but that copper is so nice! Hoping to win it. Thanks!
ReplyDeletepen: Nakaya Portable Writer in Kuro-Tamenuri finish
ReplyDeleteink: Iroshizuku Fuyu-Syogun
Pen: White pens with black trims
ReplyDeleteInk: J Herbin Ocean Blue
Yellow pens are my favorites, closely followed by silver. Or something interesting, like orange, of course! My ink choices tend to be bright, bold colors - my current favorite is a saffron yellow called "Mahatma Gandhi" by DeAtramentis. Many thanks for running a giveaway! :)
ReplyDeleteNormally, purple is my favorite color. But I'm having a hard time resisting orange pens!
ReplyDeleteLois R.
I love to collect orange fp and burnt orange inks.
ReplyDeleteThank you for this giveaway! I hope I win...
ReplyDeleteI also love demonstrators, to see the ever changing ink slosh around week to week. As for ink, I like darks reds and burgundy, like the Black Swans and Diamine Syrah.
ReplyDeletethis orange Lamy is my most favorite color from all AL-stars. i want it anyway!
ReplyDeleteMy favorite is this new color, great grandfather gave me a Levenger same color. So the color has significance to me. I love my fine nib 2014 blue I have now with a j herbin ink to match!
ReplyDeleteI have to admit, I'm a sucker for demonstrator pens - eyedropper or piston-filled - so that the ink determines the colour of the pen. And as for inks? Saturated turquoise / teal colours, or rich dark reds - at least for the moment!
ReplyDeletep.s. Forgive me if this is a double post - the first didn't seem to register!
You cannot beat the Al-star!!
ReplyDeleteWhite pens and aubergine inks!
ReplyDeleteIt's a tie between blue pens and demonstrators. (I'm also partial to Cumberland ebonite.)
ReplyDeleteAs for ink, I also tend to stay with blues. My favorites right now are Noodler's Midway Blue and Diamine Majestic Blue.
Great looking pen!
ReplyDeleteI like the Lamy Safari, I have one in red and charcoal. For ink, right now I like Noodler's Lexington Grey, it kinda looks like pencil when it dries.
ReplyDeletePs also forgive me if this is a double post, it didn't seem to work the first time.
I would love the Al-Star in the Copper Orange! I bought the Blue-Green Limited Edition last year, and think that these two would go together nicely!
